We were looking for a soul/funk band who had a brilliant lead singer and when we found Party Up we knew this was our band! The band were absolutely incredible and were a real highlight of the evening with all our guests commenting on how amazing and professional they were. Liff (lead singer) has got an unbelievable voice! They also called us up a week prior to the wedding to go over everything and cater to what we liked musically which was very reassuring for us. “Party Up were an extremely professional band, we were worried about them setting up whilst we were eating because we had the stage right in the middle of the marquee, but it was no problem at all barely noticeable with everyone chatting. They were amazing, exactly what we hoped for, blues vocals and amazing musicians playing old school tunes as well as current numbers. The atmosphere was amazing and the overwhelming comments we got from our guests about Party Up tells us how much they added to our special day. The variety of songs they had playing during their break still kept our guests dancing too! They even involved the crowd with sing along moments- it was just great!
I didn't want to leave but the bride and groom had to make their exit at midnight!"”

“Firstly, the booking experience was so easy and simple. The guys from the band could not be nicer!! Although they're not cheap they're hugely worth the money!! I could not speak highly enough, as the groom I didn't even notice them come in and begin to process of setting up. They played our first dance and hit it perfectly. They were interactive and fun loving which just added to a fantastic experience. The atmosphere they managed to conjure was phenomenal and we would definitely recommend Party Up! Simply incredible. I've been in bands most of my life so I understand how difficult it is to set up and produce a crowd on the dance floor, however they did this with ease! “The band were excellent throughout. Both the acoustic set during the drinks reception and the full band sets later in the evening were superb, the dance floor was packed for the live sets and many guests commented on how good the music was. Even the owner of the venue made special reference to how great the music had been that night. The guys were also very flexible in allowing us to use their microphone for the wedding speeches, plug in our own equipment to record the audio from the speeches directly from the mic and allowed us to plug in an iPod to play background music early in the evening before they took over. All in all, a joy to have there and a real highlight for lots of the guests. Thank you!”

For most of the evening everyone was off their seat and on the dance floor - a huge success and we feel very lucky to have had Party Up as part of our day! Considering the budget for the whole day, Party Up were without a doubt where we spent our money most wisely.
Our guests continue to rave about our band and, like any Bride and Groom, we couldn't be happier to know that our family and friends enjoyed our day as much as we did. Many of our friends who are planning their weddings have since tried to book Party Up without success ... do book as early as you can so you too can enjoy these most fabulous people!

“100% satisfied. Party Up were EXACTLY what we hoped they would be (dare I say it, better than the demo tracks online). They played our first dance and Father/Daughter dance live which were brilliant and set the mood straight away. The dance floor was full from 8-12pm and we were so disappointed when they finished.
We opted to have interval music chosen by Party Up in between their two one hour live sets as opposed to the full DJ option (where you could submit requests etc) and it worked brilliantly.
Logistically, they were perfect. I spoke with the band a week before the wedding to run through details and had their contact number in case of any last minute queries. One thing I was slightly concerned about was that we would be eating in the marquee whilst the band set up - I talked this through with the band and we decided the best time to do this etc and it worked perfectly. Nobody noticed them setting up and they were quiet and efficient and did a quick sound check at the agreed time.
Thoroughly lovely people who I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone who loves Motown/soul music - we will definitely book them again in the future.”
